Carolina Nesting was founded by Patricia
Scolnik, Realtor and Broker. We think that
the Internet has brought a tremendous amount

CASE STUDIES

Clients bought a house
depending on closing on a home in another city. This
appeared to be a safe transaction because of the promise of
a corporate buyout. However, the transaction fell through
and there was no buyout. The family had already moved out of
the home, including having their possessions on a moving
truck. We arranged for bridge financing in 48 hr., and
talked the owner of the new home into renting to the family
until closing. Responsible parties were made to contribute
financially to the transactions. The move to the new home
was delayed only slightly, and the family is happy that they
engaged the responsive and experienced Carolina Nesting
Team.

Inspection of a home we helped
sell revealed structural problems that had to be solved. We
helped negotiate a deal contingent on the repairs being made
and, by changing terms, we helped the homeowners defray the
cost of repairs. It is important to note that it is
very likely that the structural problems preceded the
purchase of the home by our clients some years ago. This
highlights the importance of allowing us to help in choosing a
home inspector that is unlikely to miss anything.
